History of IHFS
Originally, the first International Iranian Heart Failure Summit was held from 28 to 30 February and the 2nd International Iranian Heart Failure Summit took place from 13 to 15 May 2009 in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. The 3rd International Iranian Heart Failure Summit happened from 2 to 4 November 2011 and the 4th International Iranian Heart Failure Summit was arranged from 2 to 4 May 2014 in Shahid Beheshti University Conference Center.  The 5th International Iranian Heart Failure Summit was held from 15 to 17 May 2016 in Shahid Beheshti University Conference Center as well. The 6th International Iranian Heart Failure Summit took place from 9 to 11 May 2018, having invited more than twenty international speakers. The President was Sharif-kashani Babak MD, the scientific secretary was Alipour Parsa Saeed MD and the executive secretary was Amin Ahmad MD. The 7th Summit was held from 9 to 11 August 2023 in Shahid Beheshti University Conference Center. Sharif-kashani Babak MD chaired the event, Naghashzadeh Farah MD was the scientific secretary and Vahid Eslami MD the executive secretary. This year the event is scheduled from 27-29 November 2024 at the same venue with the same professors as the organizing committee.
